PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase margin of drive conditions for the fluctuation of characteristics of a switching element. SOLUTION: Two damper diodes DD1, DD2 are connected in parallel and inserted between the base and the emitter of a switching element Q1. Identical ratings are selected for the damper diodes DD1, DD2. The current ID flowing through the damper diodes DD1, DD2 is shunted, so as to prolong reverse recovery time.
