摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the earthquake resisting performance of a wood framework by using a steel material as a batten to be provided through a wood column and mounting a decorative material made up of wood in a state of surrounding the batten. SOLUTION: H-shaped steel is used as a flying batten 12b and penetrates a center column 11a, and hung horizontally between two outside columns 11b by connecting mutually between the outside columns 11b and the center column 11a using gusset plates 13. On that occasion, existing mounting holes formed in the columns 11 are used as they are for holes for mounting the flying batten 12b of a steel material. Therefore, as compared with the original batten 12 made of wood, strength increases, and raises the strength of connections up to the proof stress of the columns 11. Furthermore, by connecting adjacent columns 11, steel bars 16 that become opening stoppers are provided, and the steel bars 16 are also provided, extending above and below the steel material and concealed inside the decorative material 15, thereby increasing earthquake resisting capability and durability while maintaining the wood framework of a building to be preserved nearly in a state when it was originated in terms of appearance and preserving safely toward the future.
