SOLUTION: An antenna selector 13 is so controlled as to select the directional antenna having directivity closest to the direction of a desirable satellite by detecting the direction and tilt of the vehicle. For this satellite communication antenna 1, the antenna selector 13 selects intermediate-frequency signals Sia to Sid obtained by receiving the radio wave of the desirable satellite on the basis of the attitude control signal S14 from a control means 14 and the detection control signal S15 from a receiver 15, and outputs a select signal S13 to the receiver 15. The receiver 15 outputs the detection control signal S15 to the antenna selector 13, so that the detection output obtained by detecting the envelope of the select signal S13 from the antenna selector 13 becomes maximum.
