1. An ignition coil mounted on a spark plug to provide an electrical power supply to said plug and comprising an inner electrical secondary winding (2), an outer electrical primary winding, a flux return armature (9) and a housing (4), characterized in that said housing of the ignition coil surrounds only the secondary electrical winding as the primary electrical winding is coiled around the outside of the housing and in turn surrounded by the flux return armature. 2. The ignition coil of claim 1, in which said housing has a shape of a revolution body, the outer surface of which comprises a primary annular recess (8) for arranging said flux return armature, and a secondary annular recess (10) enclosed inside the primary annular recess in an axial direction for arranging in it the primary electrical winding. |
