PURPOSE:To safely stop a vehicle with front wheels suspended in rotation when the brake is applied to rear wheels by interposing a brake clutch among the input gears of differential mechanisms and a rear wheel drive shaft, associating the brake clutch with a clutch pedal so as to be mutually linked, and thereby engaging the brake clutch therewith when a main clutch is disengaged therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A front wheel drive shaft 16 and a rear wheel drive shaft 20 are operatively associated with each other so as to be mutually linked, and differential mechanisms 27a and 27b are disposed for the rear wheel drive shaft 20, and the brake clutch 33 is operatively associated with a main clutch pedal so as to be mutually linked, so that the brake clutch 33 is thereby engaged therewith when the main clutch 12 is engaged therewith. When a side brake is applied with the main clutch 12 disengaged, a clutch arm 52 is rotated, the brake clutch 33 is impulsively moved, a clutch pawl 31 is integrated with an input bevel gear 22, and a final shifer shaft 15 becomes rotatably inoperative, so that the front wheel drive shaft 16 is turned out to be in a braked condition. |
