摘要 A microfluidic system has a plurality of interconnected capillary channels 180, _,188 and electrodes 190, _,199 at different nodes of the channels to which voltages are applied. The voltages applied to the electrodes create electric fields within the channels to electrokinetically move materials in a fluid through the channels. To assist the achievement of good control of the material flows, a feedback control scheme is implemented whereby the voltages are applied to at least three of the electrodes simultaneously with respect to other electrodes of the system, and the applied voltages are responsive to a current at at least two of the three electrodes, to move materials into and through one or more intersections of the channels.
