SYNERGISTIC GOLD-CONTAINING COMPOSITIONS

PURPOSE: A method of treating an immune-mediated disorder having one or more manifestations is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises administering to a patient requiring such treatment a gold compound and at least one corticosteroid, wherein the at least one corticosteroid is selected to interact synergistically with the gold compound to exhibit preferential action towards one of the manifestations of the disorder or to exhibit equal action towards each manifestation of the disorder.
