A calycin comprises a binding domain for binding to at least one selected agent and a targeting domain that binds to at least a part of a hair fibre o r skin surface and can be used to target said calycin to the hair fibre or ski n surface. The invention also provides a hair or skin care composition comprising at least one calycin.
