An intermittent on/off regulator type DC power supply circuit having low noise and low losses includes a voltage detector (D500) at the power source side of the circuit and/or a current detector (D300) at the load side of the circuit which feeds back voltage and or current values to a central controller (CCU300) and intermittently cuts off the input or output of a transformer (T300) or rectifier (B300) whenever preset voltage or current levels are exceeded thereby preventing, for example, overcharging of a battery. <IMAGE> |
