PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover fine particulate dust contained in a waste gas from an ash melting furnace without depositing in a dust box to circulate and charge into the ash melting furnace. SOLUTION: A dust discharging device for ash melting furnace is provided with the ash melting furnace, a U-shaped waste gas suction duct 6 connected to a dust collector for removing the dust in the waste gas, the dust box 8 provided at the bottom of the waste gas suction duct 6 and a screw conveyer 9 provided in the dust box 8 to discharge coarse dust deposited in the dust box 8 out of the dust box 8 by the screw conveyer 9, an air diffusion means 14 is provided in the dust box 8 and the fine particulate dust in the dust box 8 is splashed by the air diffusion means 14 to be pneumatically transported with the waste gas in the waste gas suction duct 6 to the dust collector.
