PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fractionating column having a simple structure, capable of being easily fabricated and capable of being constructed at a low cost with high precision and a cartridge tray for the column as a structural unit appropriately used in the column. SOLUTION: This cartridge tray for a fractionating column is formed by an integrated structure including a vertical cylinder 5 as a shell corresponding to the tray of a unit stage in a plate fractionating column, a downcomer 3 forming a slender cylinder and vertically inserted into the vertical cylinder 5 so that the lower end projected from the lower end face of the vertical cylinder 5 and a tray 2 with a gas-liq. circulating hole 11 in the center and arranged at the upper part in the vertical cylinder 5 orthogonally to the cylinder axis.
