METHOD FOR PREVENTING GENERATION OF OFF-FLAVOR OF NONALCOHOLIC PALATABLE BEVERAGE WITH MILK AND THE PALATABLE BEVERAGE FILLED IN TRANSPARENT VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of off-flavor from beverages filled in transparent vessels caused by light irradiation by adding an effective amount of a specific vitamin to a fat-containing food. SOLUTION: An effective amount of vitamin E is added to a fat-containing food. Nonalcoholic and milk-containing palatable beverages are obtained by adding the effective amount of vitamin E for preventing generation of off flavor caused by light irradiation. In this case, it is preferable to add 5-5000 ppm vitamin E and the vitamin E is preferably that of δ type. This nonalcoholic palatable beverage can be brought to be a powdered green tea beverage.
