PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of recording an image with a high resolution by interlace recording without deterioration of the density and generation of image irregularity. SOLUTION: In an image recording apparatus for recording images/characters, or the like in a recording medium using a recording head according to an interlace recording system, the power of a channel (4ch) adjacent to an existing recording line (7ch) on one side is provided smaller than a predetermined power (5-7ch power), and the power of a channel (1-3ch) adjacent to existing recording lines on both sides is provided smaller than the power of the channel (4ch) adjacent thereto on one side. Accordingly, the applied heat amount is adjusted and controlled finely so as to reduce the thermal interference between the lines and eliminate the density irregularity. |
