PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a redundant part of a hardware configuration and to improve a communication speed. SOLUTION: A communication apparatus is provided with a dual port memory DPRAM-A520 to be accessed by the main processor (MCPU-A) 140 of a communication device A (PBX 300), DPRAM-B 530 to be accessed by the main processor (MCPU-B) 230 of the communication device B (VOIP(voice over Internet protocol) gate way 400) and a pre-processor(PP) 510 for controlling the memories. Data from the side of MCPU-A 140 of the device A are written in DPRAM-A 520 with a PP bus interface, data written in DPRAM-A 520 are read by PP 510 and written in the DPRAM-B 530 of the device B, data written in the DPRAM-B 530 are read at the side of MCPU-B 230, and then communication is executed from the communication device A to the device B.
