ULTRASONIC THERAPY INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic therapy instrument with minimum invasion capable of monitoring a treating object site and treating ultrasonic wave irradiation by an ultrasonic tomographic image. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic therapy instrument having a ultrasonic imaging instrument 3, a treating ultrasonic wave is irradiated while observing an ultrasonic tomographic image of a treating object site in the proper timing. Irradiation/nonirradiation can be known by image noise, and a progress of a therapy can be known by luminance information of the image. Intensity and irradiation time of the treating ultrasonic wave can be controlled on the basis of the luminance information.
