PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for data transfer from a host device when the plural copies of the same printing data are printed and to reduce a memory. SOLUTION: When the plural copies of a printing data transferred from the host device are printed, the CPU 21 of a printer controller part 2 reads the printing data of one line portion stored in a line memory 23 and feeds it to a printing execution part 3 so as to execute printing operation, and stores printed recording paper at a document feeding part 5. The CPU 21 releases the host device 7 from the printing operation when the printing of a first copy is completed, so that the printing processing of second and succeeding copies is started. When the printing processing of the second and succeeding copies is started, the recording paper which is stored at the document feeding part 5 and on which the first copy is printed is fed to a scanner part 4, and a picture data read by the scanner part 4 is printed. |
