PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink fan capable of simply positioning a fan unit on a heat sink. SOLUTION: In the heat sink fan comprising a heat sink 2 disposed on a member to be cooled such as an electronic component or the like and having a bottom wall 4 including a pair of side end walls 6a at both ends and a plurality of radiating fins 5 stood between the side end walls 6a and 6b, and a housing 9 having a pair of sidewalls 7a, 7b suspended from ends of an upper wall 7g brought into contact with the wall 7g and the walls 6a, 6b for supporting a fan unit 3 for supplying an air flow for cooling the sink 2, the wall 4 and the wall 7b have substantially the same planes, and protrusions 7c and recesses 6c to be engaged with at least one of the walls 6a, 6b and the walls 7a, 7b brought into contact with the walls 6a, 6b are formed.
