PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently construct an elevated track such as a new traffic system. SOLUTION: When an elevated track 1 is to be constructed, a new column 2 is erected in the front of a constructed existing track, and a new girder 3 is installed between the column 2 and the existing track to extend the track forward. A column member 2a and a girder member 3a are mounted on a construction device 4 in the horizontal attitude, the device 4 is traveled in the space below the existing track to the front position, the column member 2a is erected by an erecting machine 6, and the girder member 3a is lifted and installed by a lifting machine 7. The erecting machine 6 holding and erecting the column member 2a and the lifting machine 7 holding and lifting the girder member 3a are mounted on a carriage 5 traveling below the existing track a the device 4.
