PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or eliminate foaming which is hindrance in a developing process and to prevent contamination in a developing machine body and products by reversely applying magnetic fields to a developer so as to activate the water molecules in the developer flowing through a passage. SOLUTION: Reversed magnetic fields are applied to a developer so as to activate the water molecules in the developer flowing through a passage. In this device, plural strong magnetic circuit units 10 each consisting of a magnetic material chip 11 as a permanent magnet polarized on the face of the largest area and yokes 12, 13 joined in a magnetically sucked state to the polarized faces are arranged to give reversed magnetic fields along the flow of the developer. For example, by arranging plural units 10 at a specified interval so that the passage of the developer is positioned between the pair of yokes 12. 13, a state with changes in the direction of the magnetic flux by 180 degrees can be generated. Thereby, force with direction changing by 180 degrees is added by each unit 10 to the developer flowing through the objective place 14 between the yokes 12, 13. |
