A kitchen water tap (2) having hot (4a) and cold (5a) water supply and a third supply line (10a) has a handle (9) mounted for rotation about a longitudinal axis. Rotating the handle (9) within a first operating range (OR1) connects the hot and cold ports (4, 5) to mixing chamber (6) and controls the water temperature discharged. Rotating the handle (9) to a selected position within a second operating region (OR2) connects the third port (10) to the spout (7) for discharging water from the third supply line (10a).
