PURPOSE: An electric fuse for a memory chip is provided to omit any additional process to form a fuse by forming the fuse in the same process as the process for forming a chip. CONSTITUTION: A first transistor(41) has a drain connected to a bit line and a source connected to a common terminal. A second transistor(42) has a gate commonly connected with the gate of the first transistor(41), commonly connected source and drain that are connected with a word line formed crossing the bit line. The first and second transistors(41,42) use an NMOS or a PMOS.
