PURPOSE: A reflection plate assembly for a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the reflection efficiency of the reflection plate assembly. CONSTITUTION: A reflection plate assembly for a liquid crystal display device includes a lower substrate(4), a composite(62) of aluminium powder, liquid resin, benzocyclobutene, and a solid state composite(62'). The lower substrate(4) is scattered with a scattering apparatus(22). The composite(62) of aluminium powder, liquid resin, and benzocyclobutene is dispersed on the surface of the lower substrate by the usage of the scattering apparatus. The lower substrate is inserted to a furnace of 500-600°C atmosphere to be baked. The composite(62) of aluminium powder, liquid resin, and benzocyclobutene applied on the lower substrate is also baked to a solid state composite. The solid state composite is attached on the lower substrate to form a reflection layer(60) with protrusions and depressions.
