PURPOSE: A method for displaying caption broadcasting is provided to process the caption operation according to the selection of a user, in order to maximize the user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying caption broadcasting includes following steps. At the first step, caption data of the channel currently on air is detected(210) when a caption key input signal is inputted and the caption data is displayed(230). At the second step, the caption data of a new channel is checked for every channel change by the user during the first step, and the checked caption data is displayed on the screen(220).
