WEB SERVICE METHOD VIA APPLET VERSION CONTROL

摘要

PURPOSE: A web service method via an applet version control is provided to download and store applets in a web client system in advance, update an existing file by downloading just changed parts of the applets whenever the web service gets started and executing the updated applets so that it can reduce an applet download time and enhance the service speed. CONSTITUTION: A web service method via an applet version control comprises steps of storing a version control property file having a class file list of an applet and a version information for a version control at a web server and client, the web client downloading an applet for performing a version control from the web server, the web client reading the version control property file information, the web client comparing the downloaded version control property file with a current version control property file, the web client requesting changed applets to the web server and downloading the changed parts of the applets.
