Rotary bodies, especially for rotary windrowers, have the function of receiving rotatably and controllably tine-carrying arms, equipped with raking times, and tine carriers. They are to be as close as possible to one another relative to the outside, have high rigidity, allow the mounting of as many tine-carrying arms as possible and, furthermore, be capable of being produced as cost-effectively as possible. To achieve these aims, the rotary bodies are constructed with two housing parts (18) (19) which are as mirror-symmetrical as possible and which can be connected firmly to one another by means of coinciding plane surfaces (21) in the region of their outside diameter. The housing parts (18) (19) have, in the region of the plane surfaces (21), semi-cylindrical protruberances (23), into which outer supporting bearings (25) can be inserted. The inner supporting bearings (27) are connected to the two housing parts (18) (19) in such a way that they stiffen these. Tine-carrying arms (28) are subjected to plastic deformation at their inner ends in such a way that the ends form crank webs. According to a further feature of the invention, the tine-carrying arms (28) are formed from cylindrical tubes and are deformed inwards at their outer end in such a way as to produce, in their inside diameter, driving faces connected operatively to grooves arranged on the outside diameter of tine carriers (37) which can be connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the tine-carrying arms (28). <IMAGE> |
