<p>The procedure involves using a speed controller which switches the motor off or throttles its power to a value of less than 30% when at least one of the situations possible during motor operation occurs, namely overheating of the motor, forceful stopping of the motor, overload of the motor, lack of control signal or exiting of a range of correct values for the control signal and/or when the voltage of the storage battery falls to a value that corresponds to 80% to 99.5% of its capacity. This latter is with regard to the number of battery cells and/or the internal resistance and/or the extracted current or when it is established in some other way that the battery has been discharged to 80-99.5% of its capacity.</p> |
