METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BARRIER OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND APPARATUS THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a barrier rib of a plasma display device are provided to manufacture a barrier rib by using a laser beam. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) is manufactured on a plate. A reflective layer of the predetermined pattern is formed on an upper face of the substrate(100). A barrier rib layer(103) of the predetermined thickness is formed on the upper face of the substrate(100) formed with the reflective layer. The barrier rib layer(103) corresponding to the reflective layer is processed by a laser beam. A barrier rib pattern is formed on the barrier rib layer(103) by the leaser beam. A dielectric layer(102) is formed between the substrate(100) and the barrier rib layer(103). An electrode layer(101) is formed to be inserted into the dielectric layer(102).
