APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COOKING IN CONVECTION-TYPE OVEN

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling cooking in a convection-type oven are provided, to enable cooking time and cooking temperature to be set exactly and to display the cooking time and the cooking temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of pushing a time setting button and setting the cooking time with a digital button; setting the cooking temperature with a digital button; checking the input of a start button, thereby to operate a heater and a fan; sensing the present temperature and comparing it with the set cooking temperature; turning off the heater if the present temperature is higher than the set cooking temperature, turning on the heater if the present temperature is lower than the set cooking temperature, and repeating the turn on/off for the set cooking time; and turning off a heater and a fan when it reaches the set cooking time and generating buzzer sound to inform the termination of cooking.
