PURPOSE: A high pressure gas container is provided to achieve improvements enabling a cap of the container to be easily detached and attached from and to the neck of the container and prevent the cap from being undesirably escaped from the neck. CONSTITUTION: A container comprises a neck adopter(4) inserted with a cap(3), the adopter(4)having at an outer circumferential wall thereof a vertically formed groove, an iron portion installed on the groove, a locking member having a lock portion(10) installed at the cap(3), the member locking member having a supporting axis for rotatably supporting to a lock body(9) fixed at an inner surface of the cap(3), the locking member penetrating through the lock body(9) and the cap(3), the supporting axis having at an outer end an operation lever and at an inner end a locking lever, the locking lever constantly rotates in a direction opposite to the iron portion of the neck adopter by a locking spring wound onto the supporting axis.
