PURPOSE: An electrode roll for a secondary battery is provided to prevent degradation of an electrode by contacting all parts of an electrode base to the inner wall of a can for electrification and keeping the current density value normal. CONSTITUTION: An electrode roll for a secondary battery includes followings. An electrode roll(22) is composed of a cathode of which cathode base(28) is coated with cathode active material, a separator and an anode of which anode base is coated with the anode active material. The electrode material(28) is arranged in the outer most part of the electrode roll(22). The anode and cathode bases can be made of aluminum or copper. The end of an electrode is attached to the surface of another electrode with both-sided tape(30).
