PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for an electrode of a secondary battery is provided to restrain the expansion of the bulk of an electrode and ultimately increase the life cycle of the battery by settling the stress generated during the roll press process of active material. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for an electrode of a secondary battery includes an annealing process to settle stress after the roll press process of active material. A cathode or anode active material slurry is coated on a base followed by drying and roll-pressing. A vacuum annealing is conducted at 100-180°C for 3-24 hours in a vacuum state less than 100torr. Electrodes are manufactured by cutting in specific sizes. As a result, the electrode has refined structure and stability and restrains expansion of bulk when electrolyte is injected. |
