PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the separation of a resin liquid and to enable coating without an application spot by using a coating machine in which an agitation mechanism is installed in a storage part for the resin liquid just before application. SOLUTION: A bottom plate 5 one end of which contacts a coater roll 2 is installed, side plates 6, 7 are installed on the right and left sides of the bottom plate 5, and a space which partitions by the roll 2, the bottom plate 5, and the side plates 6, 7 is made a liquid storage part. To a rotor 9 agitating the resin liquid in the liquid storage part, the driving source 10 of the rotor 9 is installed in the end part of the bottom plate 5, and the resin liquid is agitated by driving the rotor 9 so that the resin liquid can be supplied with its thickness adjusted between the roll 2 and a comma roll 3 just before the application of the resin liquid on a sheet-shaped base material. In this way, the separation of the resin liquid can be controlled to enable coating without an application spot.
