PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod bearing an ear tip rod, having such advantages as to be provided with a merit of an internally threadable fishing rod where a fishline is not entangled on its rod tip, enable a fishline to be smoothly unreeled from the ear tip without being damaged, require no labor for threading operation through the rod, and enable an externally threadable fishing rod having been used habitually so far to be directly utilized. SOLUTION: This fishing rod 1 is made up of an original rod mounted with a reel 2, intermediate rods 4, 5, 6 shakably held into the original rod 3, and an ear tip rod 7 disposed on the rod tip; wherein the outer peripheral sides of the intermediate rods 4, 5, 6 are provided with peripheral guides 41, 51, 61 for threading a fishline 21 wound on the reel 2 therethrough, respectively, and the ear tip rod 7 is furnished with a fishline inlet 711 through which the fishline 21 unreeled from the reel 2 via the guides 41, 51, 61 is introduced into the fishing rod and a top guide 712 through which the fishline 21 introduced into the fishing rod is withdrawn via the tip of the fishing rod.
