PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricative sheath and a sheath dilator, in which a lubricative coating base material is coated on the outer periphery of a sheath tube so as to improve an operation for inserting a sheath into or drawing the sheath out of a body. SOLUTION: In this lubricative sheath 1, a lubricative coating base material is coated at least on the outer periphry of a sheath tube 2. In this case, the component material of the sheath tube 2 should be either a blend polymer comprising a polyamide and a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol, a polyurethane with shore D hardness of 60 or higher, or a multi-layered tube in which at least the outermost layer is made of polyurethane. |
