PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the degree of image persistence uniform while displaying a same still picture for a long time by converting the coordinates of a still picture employing a dot number unit, that provides no adverse effect in viewing, and converting the conversion into a self same conversion on plural cycles. SOLUTION: A picture 'AB' is displayed by dots which are arranged in lateral and longitudinal coordinates. These dots are set on many lateral and longitudinal coordinate axis lines 21 of a coordinate system. The system is moved to left and right/up and down directions and the dot locations, that are the display locations, are changed to up and down and left and right directions. The displayed character 'A' and 'B' prior to a movement are moved on the coordinate system by the amount of a movement being set to the up and down/left and right directions. The movement is relatively equivalent to a case that the coordinate system is fixed and the coordinates of a picture are converted. The conversion is a self same conversion on plural cycles. Thus, image persistence of a screen is prevented by moving the position of the displayed picture for every constant time. By using the unit having a number of dots, that provide no adverse effect in viewing to move the picture for every constant time, the image persistence is prevented without changing the display contents. |
