PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and beautifully stick a surface sheet made of a synthetic resin on the whole surface of a top board provided with corner parts. SOLUTION: A surface sheet 3 consisting of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is laminated on a board main body 1' and the peripheral edge of the surface sheet 3 is press-fixed on a vacuum table 32 by means of a clamp body and a region under the surface sheet 3 is exhausted to deform the surface sheet 3 so as to wrap the peripheral edge of the board main body 1'. In this case, a transverse communication hole 28 and a downward communication hole 29 are provided on the corner edge 25 of the board main body 1'. It is possible thereby to ensure deformability and adhesive properties of the surface sheet 3 by vacuum suction. In addition, wrinkles of the surface sheet 3 is absorbed by providing a means for increasing the surface area such as ribs 27 on the underside of the corner edge 25.
