PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity of side of front part of an automobile body by fixing a reinforcing member extending foward of the body within a front pillar part to a front piller hinge reinforcement. SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 13 is provided to extend foward of a car body from a front part of a front piller hinge reinforcement 8 to a front part of a side sill strength. The member 13 is disposed to across an angular part C so as to cover a connection portion between a front piller part and a side sill part. When a shock comming from the front of car body is impressed to a front side surface of the front of car body, the load of shock is applied to the front piller part and the side sill part. Then, when a piller part 6A of a side body outer pannel 6 is deformed, further deformation is restrained by the member 13 provided inside of the pillar part 6A. The deformation of car body fornt side is restrained to the minimum in this way.
