PURPOSE: To eliminate the leakage of pressurized fluid from the vicinity of a gate by rounding the entire or partial corner of a mold boundary between a gate land in which the fluid is passed and a product cavity. CONSTITUTION: A, B, D and E are the points on the surface of a mold in section, and the point A is the point on the surface connected with the gate land 2 of a product cavity 5. The point B is the intersection between the circular arc present in the section by the round corner R and the surface connected with the land 2 of the cavity 5, and the point D is the intersection between the circular arc present at the section by the round corner R and the land 2. The point E is the intersection between a sprue or a runner 1 and the land, and the corner R6 is attached to the part formed with a thin part. As a result, the formation of the thin part can be suppressed, and the leakage of pressurized fluid from the vicinity of the gate can be estimated to be reduced. |
