摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the profile of copying light in the midst of copying a photographic original by a photographic copying machine by measuring the profile of the copying light, comparing it with the desired profile of the copying light and optimizing the profile of transmissivity previously selected for a copying stage based on the compared result. SOLUTION: Either processing is performed, that is, the profile of the copying light is measured by providing a transparent element having the known profile of the transmissivity in an optical path and radiating light so that the light may pass through or copying is performed without providing the transparent element and the photographic original 200 having the unknown profile of the transmissivity does not exist in the optical path at all, then the profile of the specified tansmissivity is arranged in a local transmissivity adjusting device (liquid crystal matrix 20). Then, the copying light generated as a result is divided to areas and measured in every area and the profile of the copying light is measured and compared with the desired profile of the copying light. The profile of the transmissivity previously selected for the respective copying stages is optimized based on the compared result in terms of copying the photographic original on copying material.
