PART MOUNTING METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC PART MOUNTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make accurate picture recognizing processing executable even on such electronic parts that are one-sidedly stuck to a suction nozzle by vacuum and do not come within the range of a recognition camera. SOLUTION: When a suction nozzle 12 reaches a picture recognizing position, the position of a recognition camera 14 is corrected so that the whole body of electronic parts 13 may come within the range of the camera 14 only when it is discriminated that the parts 14 are partially positioned on the outside of the range of the camera 14 based on the comparison between picture data taken with the camera 14 and the preset attribute data of the parts 13. After the position of the camera 14 is corrected, the amount of the positional deviation of the parts 13 from the nozzle 12 is calculated by again performing recognizing processing based on the picture data taken by means of the camera 14 after correction.
