PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read in cut partial map originals and to make efficiently combinable them into one image data. SOLUTION: Partial maps into which a large-sized map original is cut are read in from a map read means 3, and only parts of display width set by a display width setting means 6 are segmented from boundary lines of adjacent partial maps and are displayed. One or plural ranges along boundary lines are designated on this display picture, and only these ranges are divided and displayed, and one partial map is moved in the boundary line direction while seeing this display to perform the position correction between image data, thus combining them into one continuous image data. |
