SOCKET, FLUORESCENT LAMP AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fluorescent lamp to be replaced independently of a lighting circuit, and miniaturize a luminaire. SOLUTION: A lamp mounting portion 16 is disposed at the center of an envelope 15 of a socket 11. A part container 17 is disposed around the lamp mounting portion 16. A circuit board is contained inside the envelope 15. A contact member for supplying a current in contact with a contact 44 of a fluorescent lamp 12 and an electric part having a low dimension are mounted on the lamp mounting portion 16. An electric part having a high dimension is contained inside the part container 17, and then, is mounted on the circuit board.
