<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device that can simplify the positioning fixing work between a prism unit and a liquid crystal panel unit and reduced in picture element deviation. SOLUTION: This projection type display device is provided with a fixed frame plate 55 whose center part fixed on the surface side of the prism unit 20 is opened, a panel frame body 51 holding liquid crystal panels 40R, 40G and 40B and a spacer 57 having a surface 57b opposed to the fixed frame plate 55 and the surface 57a opposed to the panel frame body 51 and arranged between the fixed frame plate 55 and the panel frame body 51. And, the fixed frame plate 55 and the panel frame body 51 are stuck and fixed with an adhesive through the spacer 57 and the stuck part 55f of the fixed frame plate 55 with the spacer 57 is projected in the direction of the panel frame body 51.</p> |
