PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control system, a display controlling method, and a memory medium, enabling display data to be one-sidedly outputted to a display device in the same way as display control for a CRT or other liquid crystal displays, and not needing a memory means for holding display data for the portion of one line. SOLUTION: This display control system has an FLCD 20 for outputting a signal denoting that display data can not be processed when the system is in such a state that processing for display on a display screen can not be performed, and a CPU 23 as a display controller 19 for executing control to suspend the delivery of a signal requiring a line-address generating circuit 24 to output display data to an SVGA 21 when the signal denoting that display data can not be processed is received from the FLCD 20.
