OPENING/CLOSING CONTROL DEVICE FOR FALLBOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing control device for a fallboard, having a structure excellent in external appearance and ensuring stable motion of the fallboard. SOLUTION: An opening/closing control device 10 controls the opening/closing motion of a fallboard 1 turnably mounted on an interior roof 3. A shock absorber 11 mounted on the interior roof 3 and a link mechanism 12 for interlinking the shock absorber 11 with the fallboard 1 are provided. A cover means 20 is provided for preventing movable parts of the link mechanism 12 from being exposed at the time of opening/closing the fallboard 1 linked to the link mechanism 12. The cover means 20 includes a cover member 21 disposed at a linking part on the side of the fallboard 1 and a sheath-like member 22 disposed so as to allow the cover member 21 to fit thereinto. The sheath-like member 22 is disposed in an appropriate place of a key stop rail 18.
