PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid repetition of starting a self-diagnosis for an inverter and resetting a control part in starting. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a self-diagnosis is necessary (S1), only a control part is started and a charging circuit is cut off (S3). After 200 milliseconds have passed (S4), it is checked whether the voltage Vc of a storage battery (capacitor) at that time is a prescribed value or higher (S5). If it is the prescribed value or higher, a self-diagnosis for an inverter is carried out (S6). After the completion, utility power is supplied to a load (S7) and, if the inverter is failed, its indication is made (S8, S9). If the Vc is not the prescribed value or higher at the step S5, utility power is supplied to a load without any self-diagnosis (S10) and failure of the storage battery is indicated (S11). |
