PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed loop type pressure controller which reliably and easily sets oil pressure in an oil duct to a set pressure value regardless of the operation state of a hydraulic circuit and the change of an oil temperature. SOLUTION: The pressure controller consists of a pressure sensor 2 which detects oil pressure in an oil duct 1, a pressure control valve 3 which regulates the oil pressure in the duct 1, an inputting means 20 for numerically inputting a set pressure value and a microcomputer which drives and controls the valve 3 so as to make the set pressure value that is numerically inputted from the means 20 coincide with a measured pressure value obtained by a detection signal from the sensor 2.
