PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve phone call failure with a center because the volume level of a speaker is not appropriate in emergency report system terminal equipment which is mounted on a vehicle, transmits the current position information of the vehicle and data such as a registered vehicle to the center controlling an emergency report system such as the police and an emergency report center in an emergency such as a traffic accident and sudden illness and also performs a handsfree phone call with the center. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a volume control circuit 18A which sets the volume level of a speaker 6 outputting a sound signal received from a center to a constant level, prohibits a user from changing volume levels and controls the volume level of the speaker 6 to the constant level when an emergency report is communicated even through the user is allowed to change volume levels.
