PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate a lens cover for a photographic lens with a lens barrel, and also, to miniaturize the mechanism. SOLUTION: The lens cover is provided with a frame 3 which is arranged inside the front part of a front panel 2 positioned in the front part of the lens barrel and also arranged in front of a front lens and which is provided with a frame opening 4 facing the front opening 2a, two sectoral covers 5f and 5r for opening/closing the frame opening 4 of the frame 3, and an opening/closing mechanism 6 for executing the opening/closing operation of the covers 5f and 5r. The covers 5f and 5r are formed in a shape with an center angle of >=180 deg., the two covers 5r and 5f are connected to each other at the center so as to be freely rotated, and the opening/closing mechanism 6 is constituted of a rotating means 16 for rotating the two covers 5f and 5r in directions opposite to each other, and a moving means 17 for moving the two covers 5f and 5r in the facial direction of the frame opening 4 of the frame 3, and the frame opening 4 is opened/closed by rotating the two covers 5f and 5r under the operation of the rotating means 16 in accordance with the movement of the covers 5f and 5r by the moving means 17.
