BIT STREAM ANALYZER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of a circuit scale by judging the contents of a bit stream after then in the case of detecting a start code, and transferring the bit stream without analyzing the contents of the bit stream concerning the start code unnecessitating analysis, thereby improving analyzing efficiency. SOLUTION: When the bit stream is inputted to an input buffer 11 and a start code prefix detecting means 12 detects a start code prefix from the bit stream, a start code judging means 13 investigates whether next one byte showing the kind of the bit stream is inputted to the inside of the buffer 11. When the following one byte of the start code prefix is inputted, the means 13 checks a bit stream ID. When analysis is not required, the start code detecting signal is not reported to a bit stream analyzing means 14 but transferring of the bit stream is started again to omit unnecessary analysis of the bit stream.
